Cyprès au mistral

Françoise Luciani creates her work using a unique technique that combines patience and meticulousness. Each piece is cut out entirely by hand – without the use of laser cutting – giving her work an authentic, artistic dimension. She then assembles these paper fragments on foam board, incorporating coloured tracing paper to play subtly with transparencies and superimpositions. This meticulous process gives rise to compositions of great finesse, in which light and depth interact harmoniously.
