Françoise Luciani crafts her works using a unique technique that combines patience and meticulousness. Each piece is cut entirely by hand – without the use of laser cutting – giving her work an artistic and authentic dimension. She then assembles these paper fragments on foam board, incorporating coloured tracing paper to play subtly with transparencies and overlays. This meticulous process gives rise to compositions of great finesse, where light and depth interact harmoniously.
