Taxon silencieuse

Through clay, I seek to bring forth hybrid forms, caught between growth and fossilisation, balance and collapse. The material becomes a sensitive landscape where textures, hollows, strata and outgrowths intermingle, evoking as much  the living as the traces left by time. Each sculpture is constructed as a fragment of an imaginary landscape, an organic memory where the mineral seems to come back to life and where the plant world is transformed into fragile architecture.
