My ceramic sculpture draws its inspiration from the plant, mineral and animal worlds, from the subtle, organic forms found at the heart of natural landscapes. I explore living structures and phenomena of transformation: mosses colonising stone or trees, lichens with their delicate reliefs, rock formations shaped by time and erosion, underground ramifications and the tangled web of roots.
Through clay, I seek to bring forth hybrid forms, poised between growth and fossilisation, balance and collapse. The material becomes a sensitive terrain where textures, hollows, strata and outgrowths intermingle, evoking as much the living as the traces left by time. Each sculpture is constructed as a fragment of an imaginary landscape, an organic memory where the mineral seems to come back to life and where the plant world is transformed into fragile architecture.
